1. Students at your school always queue for food at lunchtime. What goes through your mind?

Whether there’s a business idea in it – pre-orders or a snack stand – and how I could test it quickly. That someone should really do something about it. Nothing – that’s just how things are.

2. Have you ever sold something or organised a paid event?

Yes – I’ve sold handmade things, run a small online shop or organised a school fair. Once or twice, together with friends. No, and it doesn’t interest me.

3. Your idea flops after a few weeks. How do you react?

I work out what went wrong, learn from it and try an improved version. I’m disappointed and take a long break. I give up for good.

4. How do you feel about risk and uncertainty?

I accept them, as long as I’ve thought things through and have a plan B. I prefer safe choices, but I can take small risks. I avoid them at all costs.

5. Classes and start-up projects are in English, in teams with students from different countries. How does that sound?

Perfect – an international team means more ideas, and English opens the door to customers and investors worldwide. OK, though pitching in English might stress me out. I’d rather study in my own language.

6. You need to convince someone to invest in your idea. What do you do?

I prepare a short pitch showing the problem, the solution, the customers and how it will make money. I explain it enthusiastically and hope they like it. I’d rather not ask anyone.

7. How do you feel about costs, prices and profit margins?

I like calculating whether an idea will actually pay off. I can handle the basics. I’d rather someone else did the maths.

8. A customer complains about your product. What do you do?

I thank them, ask for details and use the feedback to improve it. I apologise and hope it doesn’t happen again. I ignore it – you can’t please everyone.

9. How do you organise your time when lots of things are going on at once?

I set priorities, plan my week and stick to deadlines. I manage somehow, often at the last minute. I tend to lose track of things.

10. What motivates you most to study Entrepreneurship?

The chance to build my own business and learn how to turn ideas into something real. A general interest in business. I’m not sure it’s for me
