IT Systems Implementation is a specialisation within the Information Management programme at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJAIT). It is for you if you want to bring IT solutions into real companies.
You learn how IT solutions are introduced in an enterprise, including conducting a pre-implementation analysis and selecting the optimal solution for the needs of a given company.
Information management is a practical IT field with added management, analysis and communication components, so implementation work here rests on both technical and managerial knowledge. You choose the specialisation in the fifth semester of full-time studies.
Thesis topics centre on ERP systems: the process of implementing an ERP system based on a company example, and implementing an ERP system in the production area based on an enterprise example.
You can find employment in companies that order IT solutions, on the client side, or in companies that provide IT software and infrastructure, on the supplier side. Positions named for graduates include ERP sales and implementation specialist, SAP implementation consultant, IT solution implementation and support consultant, and ERP system business analyst.
