ADMISSION

The on-line registration starts at the begining of March. The entrance exam takes place in May. All information about the dates and places of the examination on the web page.

ACADEMIC YEAR

The academic year is divided into two semesters: winter and summer. The winter semester starts October 1 and lasts till the end of January, with a one-week break at Christmas. The examination session takes place in January and February. The summer semester starts in mid-February and ends in June, with a one-week break at Easter. The examination session takes place in June and the re-take session in September.

DIPLOMA RECOGNITION

The university graduates are well equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary in modern medical clinical practice and receive a medical diploma recognized all over the world.

STUDENT RESEARCH CLUBS

Students of the Medical University of Warsaw can pursue their own interests by joining research clubs that give them opportunity to deepen theoretical knowledge as well as to acquire and develop practical clinical skills by participating in discussions, presenting new scientific findings, studying clinical cases and getting involved in clinical research projects.

MUW LIBRARY

The Warsaw Medical University Library services to support the academic and instructional needs of the students, faculty and staff at the university. There are computers, wireless internet, several group/ independent study rooms, anatomical models, and microscopes that can be used within the library premises.

ORIENTATION DAYS

All first-year students are welcome to participate in the Orientation Days organized right before the academic year starts. During these days new students receive useful information regarding studying and living in Warsaw; meet students from student organizations and members of the Faculty.
