Elektronika test

Find out if Electronics is the right major for you!

1. Do you enjoy working with circuits, components, and understanding how electronic devices function?

2. Are you comfortable learning and applying math and physics related to voltage, current, and signal behavior?

3. Do you enjoy designing or prototyping electronic systems, even if it requires trial and error?

4. Are you interested in learning about analog and digital signal processing?

5. Do you enjoy troubleshooting faults in electronics and debugging hardware?

6. Are you curious about microcontrollers, embedded systems, and how software interfaces with hardware?

7. Do you enjoy working with power electronics or learning how to control energy flow efficiently?

8. Do you like combining theoretical understanding with building and testing real devices?

9. Are you motivated to keep learning as electronic components and technologies evolve?

10. Do you want to create or improve devices that interact with the physical world (sensors, controllers, interfaces)?

Definitions and quotes

Electronics
Electronics is the discipline dealing with the development and application of devices and systems involving the flow of electrons in a vacuum, in gaseous media, and in semiconductors. Electronics deals with electrical circuits that involve active electrical components such as vacuum tubes, transistors, diodes, integrated circuits, optoelectronics, and sensors, associated passive electrical components, and interconnection technologies. Commonly, electronic devices contain circuitry consisting primarily or exclusively of active semiconductors supplemented with passive elements; such a circuit is described as an electronic circuit.
